Luna Rose Lovegood was born on a warm day on the 27th day in May in the year of 1981 to Xenophilius and Lacey Lovegood. Luna was shy from the time she was born until present day. She mostly kept to herself, launching herself in her own world where she tends to lose herself, which earned her the nick name, "Looney" She doesn't mind it too much, but secretly she longs for friends, but doesn't say that out loud for she does not want their pity. When she was 9 years old she witnessed the devestating death of her mother who at the time was a very spectacular witch. That is a secret Luna holds to the grave and hopes that no one finds out. But when she witnessed her mother's spell backfiring, Luna lost part of herself and felt that she was more alone than ever in the world. She slowly learned to move on, latching onto her father and they have been close ever since.
Luna attended Hogwarts from 1992 to 1999 and was in the house of Ravenclaw, but seemed more like she belonged in Gryffindor. In fact, her best friends, Colin, Shell, Ginny and Harry were in Gryffindor and she spent every moment with them. Once out of Hogwarts, Luna applied to college and got accepted to KSU in America, a drastic change for her since she had never been outside of England, but was determined to see more of the world. Her major is Theater with a minor in English Lit and hopes to be a teacher or an actress. She is a very bubbly person, though she can be shy around those she does not know. But in time she will come around and be the most fun person you will ever meet. But she does have a firey streak, so it is best to stay on her good side...
