Brief History: Luna was born to pure blood parents on a hot day in August, the only child to be born to Xenophilius and his wife. Even at a young age Luna knew that she was their pride and joy, and she adored them more than words could say. She also knew that she was speical since she could make things move when she was angry or scared, and that was how her parents told her that she would one day become a with. She was okay with being by herself most of the time, but she did surround herself with some neighborhood kids, one in particular, Shelly Moon, whom to this day remains her best friend and sister, and they are closer than any pair of friends can be. When Luna was nine years old she witnessed the most horrible thing to date: The death of her mother. She watched, helpless as the spell her mother was working on backfire and she ended up departing from the world. This devetated Luna and her father, wondering if they were ever going to survive the horrible loss.

With Shelly by her side, Luna grieved in the way she knew how and was greatful for her friend to comfort her. Years went by and Luna learned to heal and then got her letter to Hogwarts,and was happy that she would be learning magic and be able to use it after years of wondering what she could do. Sorted in Ravenclaw, she earned her place in the house, though she was a bit more unique than others, earning the nickname, Looney. She made real friends in Shelly and Ginny who were close to her since they were close in age, and it was not until Luna's fourth year at Hogwarts that she met Harry and was one of the few people who stood by him, being the only one at the school who believed that the Dark Lord had risen again. She joined the DA and fought bravely with Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny and Neville in the Department of Mysteries and the battle of Howarts in her 5th year and the War in her 6th year, being taken into the Malfoy Manor while on holiday and was tortured due to not knowing where Harry's whereabouts was. She was saved by Harry and his friend and then fought along side him. After the war, she completed her 6th and seventh years and then made the grave descion of going to college in America. There she met another setback of a creepy stalker who tormented her and a few other girls. Two years later she found herself healing again and then took a month off by visting her father and now she returns to complete her college years and hopefully gain more strength in her studies and in friends.
